• MAY 23, 2024 UPDATE:

  • The final countdown to our June 8th Grand Opening has begun!   

  • Our team of extraordinary landscapers installed 42 irrigation zones, 1.25+ acres of sod and over 6 truckloads of trees and plants last week.

  • Parking lot paving & striping is well underway and will be completed next week.

  • In-unit furnishings and touch ups on all floors are nearing completion. 

  • Lights, countertops & computers have been installed in the new resort registration desk where our guest services team is very much looking forward to greeting you starting May 31^st.

• APRIL 25, 2024 UPDATE:

  • Ballroom carpet installation is in progress. Once completed, all flooring in the building will be done!

  • Unit appliances and dishware are currently being put in place.

  • Sidewalks are be poured and exterior lights are being installed.

  • Elevators are operation and unit furniture install will begin soon.

   

• MARCH 28, 2024 UPDATE:

   

  
  

  • In-unit appliances have begun to arrive and be installed on all floors.

  • Carpet installation is in full swing on the upper levels and moving along well.

  • Lots of progress in the new Seven Birches winery including the start of finish carpentry work.

  • Rhythm Tap & Grille is taking shape nicely with the recent installation of the kitchen hood system, refrigeration/freezer unit and over 90% completion of all drywall work.

• FEBRUARY 22, 2024 UPDATE:

  
  

  • In-unit carpet installation is complete and hallways are well under way.

  • Lobby woodwork, Grand staircase and tile work is almost finished.

  • In-unit appliances have arrived and are being installed (our new loading dock has been a huge help).

  • Exterior work to begin soon including sidewalks and Seven Birches Winery chiller installation.

• JANUARY 25, 2024 UPDATE:

  
  

  • The Grand Lobby construction is well underway including painting, column installation and buildout of the resort’s new check-in desk. 

  • Rhythm Tap & Grille framing, electrical and kitchen hood system installation is in full swing.

  • Lots of changes on each of the unit floors including carpeting and kitchen flooring installation. 

• December 28, 2023 Update:

  • The Grand Ballroom will open early summer 2024 and will be the newest event venue facility in the northeast offering classical elegance with a functional flare.

• NOVEMBER 28, 2023 UPDATE:

  • Our monthly construction update by Chris Curran – Vice President of Development.

  • Featuring an update from our Vice President of Real Estate Sales, Brian Willette about RiverWalk ownership.

  • Construction fencing has been removed and the building exterior has been buttoned up tightly for the winter season.

  • Lots of interior work in progress including in-unit painting, winery tasting area buildout, Grand Ballroom insulation and stonework design for the lobby & lower level fireplaces.

  • As a reminder our next sales event will be on February 10, 2024.

   

• OCTOBER 31, 2023 UPDATE:

  • Our monthly construction update by Chris Curran – Vice President of Development.

  • West end parking lot paving, exterior stonework and front entrance column installation have been the key focusses as our team of contractors work diligently to button up the building exterior before snowfall.

  • Lots of exciting updates at Seven Birches Winery including the creation of their new Club Lounge and Tasting Room, plus production space expansions.

  • Elevator installation, front entrance paving and the Grand Ballroom ceiling and gazebo buildout all began this month.

• AUGUST 29, 2023 UPDATE:

  • Our monthly construction update by Chris Curran – Vice President of Development.

  • Installation of the grand lobby staircase has begun!

  • The creation of the resort’s new porte cochere entrance is almost complete.

  • Paving prep work for the new resort entrance and parking lots is in progress.

  • Exterior siding is almost complete as the team diligently works to finish the building exterior before snowfall.

• JULY 26, 2023 Update:

  • Our monthly construction update by Chris Curran – Vice President of Development.

  • Interior unit painting and the installation of kitchen cabinets & fireplaces is coming along smoothly.  

  • The arrival of kitchen countertops and interior doors is expected within the next week.

  • Current exterior work includes pouring the lower level balcony decks and building the new front entrance porte cochere!

  • The grand lobby staircase and elevator install are coming up next.

   

• June 26, 2023 UPDATE:

  • Our monthly construction update by Chris Curran – Vice President of Development.

  • Exterior windows and doors are now installed in the winery, spa and Grand Ballroom.

  • Drywall and painting is progressing nicely on all residential floors as well as all lobby level & lower level interior framing.

  • Trim, flooring and bathroom tile work is just beginning with the installation of unit fireplaces and kitchen cabinets coming up next.

    
    

   

• MAY 25, 2023 UPDATE:

  • The entire building is now watertight which allows for interior work to be kicked into high gear!

  • There is over 500,000 square feet of drywall going into the building. This work is coming along well on all floors with the 2nd floor almost complete.

  • In-unit knockdown painting begins next week.

  • Lots of progress in framing the commercial spaces including the interior/exterior bar of our new restaurant and the Grand Ballroom pre-function area.

   

• APRIL 21, 2023 UPDATE:

  • Over the last month we have made a lot of progress. Here is what has been installed: 6000 feet of piping for the mechanical system, 35% of duct work, 30% of spray foam insulation, 45% of electrical rough, 25% of standing seem, 75% of windows and doors, 20% of the siding, 85% of exterior framing, 65% of interior framing, 50% of plumbing and last but not least… the upper roof is 75% waterproofed.

  • In the upcoming weeks, interior drywall work and spray foam will continue. In additional to this, the roof should be 100% watertight.

  • The building’s center cupola was flown into place last week. RiverWalk’s ceremonial signed beam will live securely under this cupola bestowing good luck and well wishes on the building for many years to come.

   

• March 21, 2023 UPDATE:

  • The creation of the red roof is coming along nicely as the building is being closed in.

  • The Grand Ballroom, catering event kitchen and interior staircases have been poured which completes 95% of all needed cement work in the building.

  • Our new state of the art air handler system is currently being installed. This extraordinary equipment will circulate air in and out of the entire building every 8 minutes.

  • Interior unit drywall grid systems and sheet rock work is happening daily... Lots of exciting changes are happening every day!

  

  

  

  

   

• FEBRUARY 21, 2023 UPDATE:

  • Roof trusses have all been installed and the creation of the red roof has begun.  

  • The new spa and winery production cement floors have been poured. The Grand Ballroom and event kitchen are currently being prepped and will be poured next week.  Once completed, all interior cement floor work will be finished.

  • 225+ heat pump cabinets have been delivered and are currently being installed throughout the building.

  • In-unit drywall work is about to get underway.

• JANUARY 25, 2023 Update:

  • Our construction crew has appreciated the unusual warmer temperatures this month and it shows in the great progress being made. Day by day, the crew works all bundled up to shield themselves from the winter elements while not missing a minute of time on the site. Our hats go off to the entire crew for the extraordinary work they are doing!

  • Erecting the front exterior steel towers has been a key focus over the last few weeks and is coming along nicely. Exterior framing & trusses as well as interior unit framework will continue through the winter.

  • Concrete work is also in full swing. The east end of the lower level is almost complete with the winery production area currently being prepped for pouring. Grand Ballroom and event kitchen floors are scheduled to be done soon.

• December 28, 2022 Update:

  • Sixty-six additional new, luxury residences are currently being constructed with projected occupancy in the spring of 2024, as planned. Due to high-demand and pace of sales, we have created a virtual sales event model to carry us through pre-construction, with a third of the new construction being sold within the first two events. If there are any questions, to include how these events work or when they are held, please contact the Real Estate Office in person or via our website.

  • Buildout of the RiverWalk Grand Ballroom event facility, in-house theatre/activities room and the new location for the Solstice North Day Spa expansion are coming along very smoothly. Cement will be poured starting next month in the new West Wing lower level where these grand new amenities will be located. This will be the last of the cement work needed to complete the new phase. Bookings for weddings and conventions in the Grand Ballroom will begin next summer. And, more details about the exciting spa expansion are coming soon!

  • The Seven Birches Winery expansion, which will include an increase of their current footprint to over 10,000 square feet, is coming together nicely. The new winery location will be more than 5 times the size of their current tasting room & commercial production facility.  The 4 new 26' tall, 3000 gallon wine/cider tanks were installed earlier this summer and the new production facility located on the lower level is going to be an extraordinary site to see. 

  • Although the pool area will not be changing significantly, plans are in the works to add a new 35+ person outdoor hot tub as well as additional pool furniture & sunshade to the area. Interesting side note to share…the new hot tub will be the largest one our pool company has ever installed.

  • Two new parking lots are being added to RiverWalk with work scheduled to begin on these lots later next Spring. The new lots will be located near the new west wing side entrance by Jean’s Playhouse. In addition to this, there will be additional landscaping & parking enhancements in the playhouse theatre area.

   

  

  

  

   

• November 11, 2022 UPDATE:

  A great time was had at our recent Expanding Extraordinary ceremonial Topping Off Celebration. It was a memorable day in the journey of our West Wing expansion.
  

  The practice of “Topping Off” a building can be traced back to the ancient Scandinavian rite of placing a tree atop a new building to bestow good luck on the future inhabitants of the structure. In order to celebrate and carry on this tradition, we will be placing a special steel beam within the grand entrance cupola that was signed at the event by those who played roles in bringing the vision of RiverWalk to life.

  

  

  

  

• October 26, 2022 UPDATE:

  There are 300 trucks worth of concrete supporting the steel framing of the West Wing which is now only 12 inches away from connection with the East Wing.

  Roof trusses will be completed next week to keep the coming weather out of the building.

  Grand Ballroom steel work is complete and you can now see and feel the enormity of the beautiful space where we will host extraordinary events.

   

  

  

  

• September 21, 2022 Update

  The West Wing building is taking on great shape with progress happening daily!  

  Watch for more steel to be flying over the next few weeks as the construction gap between Phase I & Phase II buildings is closed in.

  90% of the concrete walls & footings are complete.

  Exterior wall framing and floor work is well underway and coming along smoothly.

   

  

  

  

   

• August 23, 2022 Update:

  The excitement has been BUILDING and we thank you very much for your patience & understanding of our appearance while we grow.

  65% of the building steel is erected and the west end staircase has been installed.

  All major concrete walls are poured with floor work scheduled to begin in two weeks.

  Underslab plumbing and electrical work will begin in early September.

  Exterior wall framing is underway and will continue through the winter.

   

  

  

  

• July 27, 2022 Update:

  It’s been a very busy summer so far for our team of contractors! 50% of the steel work for the new West Wing building is complete.

  The production tanks in the new Seven Birches winery location have been installed and are an extraordinary site to see. Check out their install footage.

   

  

  

  

   

• June 16, 2022 Update:

  First truckload of steel arrived this week. 50+ more truckloads are expected as 1045 tons of steel are needed for building completion. Steel beams are currently being eructed and the building structure is coming to life! 

• June 1, 2022 Update:

  An exciting day here at RiverWalk as the new Seven Birches Winery production facility tanks arrive! And, it won’t be long now before these amazing tanks are put in place in the new winery production location as we ‘Expand Extraordinary’.

  Such a memorable time was had as we commemorated the groundbreaking of “Expanding Extraordinary”! We celebrated with many great business partners, local community members and those involved in Phase II construction, many of which we are thankful to call our friends. We look forward to opening the doors of this expansion to everyone in the Spring of 2024!
